SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Which shipping service do you use?

We ship all of our items with UPS Express. When your order is ready to ship, you will receive an automated email including your UPS tracking number.

We insure shipments on all orders. For legal purposes, the value of your shipment is non-negotiable and must directly reflect the cost of the jewellery.

Do you accept returns?

At SHEEVA we strive for excellent customer service and want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase. However, as each piece is handmade to order, we do not accept returns. If your piece has been damaged or is defective please email info@sheeva.com for a repair authorization within 24 hours from receiving your order. Custom pieces/personalized pieces cannot be returned unless the item is damaged or we made a mistake.

 SIZING

How do I know my ring size?

All of our rings are standard European sizes. If you don’t know your EU sizes, we highly suggest getting sized by a local jeweller. We cannot be responsible for determining your ring size.

Which necklace length should I order?

Depending on the type of necklace and where you’d like the necklace to sit, the best is to measure with a soft tape measure to get the exact measurement. For our floating heart diamonds, we recommend that the diamond sits in the dip of the neck, the hollow part to avoid any discomfort from the stone. We also recommend taking them off before going to sleep or doing any physical activity. Our standard necklace length for women is 40cm for the small designs, the larger ones are 50cm.

For men we usually recommend a chain length of 50-55cm, again it is all down to personal preference and comfort.

JEWELLERY CARE

How should I care for my jewellery?

18k and 14k gold only requires cleaning once every 2-4 weeks depending on how often it’s worn and certain other factors.  All our 18ct white gold has been plated with a white rhodium finish, this is a layer of plating applied to the metal to emphasize the bright white finish of the metal and can be especially susceptible to discolouration when brought into contact with harsh chemicals such as bleach.

Please use caution when applying hairsprays, lotions, colognes and perfumes as their application may cause the metal to tarnish. Polishing cloths work well for gently cleaning karat gold jewellery, you can occasionally use lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush, however, when cleaning fine jewellery it is always best to take it to a professional as certain home cleaning methods may cause damage.

Semi-precious stones and beaded bracelets are handmade and can be delicate, we advise that they be kept away from hairsprays, lotions, colognes or perfumes which can alter the natural stones. Elasticated bracelets should also avoid any contact with water and be removed when sleeping, showering, exercising, or when using a pool or sauna. Such elements can weaken the elastic cord that holds the bracelet together and can lead to breakage. Extreme heat such as direct sunlight can make the elastic snap, therefore extra precaution must be taken in order to ensure longevity. Avoid pulling or stretching the bracelet, roll it on/off gently. The beads can be cleaned with a small amount of mineral oil using a clean soft white cloth.

Diamonds can be cleaned using a small amount of liquid soap in hot water and dried using a lint-free cloth to remove any dirt and grease to bring back its shine.

 DIAMONDS

What colour/clarity are your diamonds and where do they come from?

Our floating diamonds and solitaires come from India, and are near colourless (F-G) and VS1/2 in clarity. We provide GIA certificates for diamonds from 0.5ct and above.

Pavé diamonds come from both India and other suppliers we work with in London and sometimes Italy.
